Imagine being attended to by a robot while shopping at the supermarket. This experience became reality for a customer at an establishment in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and the moment was shared on TikTok.
Since its upload on January 2, the video has racked up an impressive 3.2 million views.
The record shows the consumer interacting with the robot, asking for guidance on the location of the grated cheese.
Surprisingly, the machine not only provides the desired information, but also guides the customer to the correct aisle.
However, what really caught viewers’ attention was not just the intelligence of the robot, but his remarkable friendliness.
Efficiency in robot service is impressive
Comments on the platform highlight the robot’s efficiency and highlight its friendliness. One internet user stated that the robot did better than some attendants who serve in a bad mood and even “suck our energy”.
Other users called him “cute” and affectionately nicknamed him “nicer than a lot of people”. The protagonist of the video is Robios Gomanufactured in Brazil by Human Robotics.
The company developed ‘Robios’ with the aim of interacting autonomously and in a humanized way with customers in commercial environments, such as stores and supermarkets.
The technology behind the robot includes a ‘face’ programmed with expressions such as blinking and smiling, providing a friendlier interaction.

“With a friendly approach, robots establish facilitating dialogues, making service efficient. Questions and answers are generated using artificial intelligence.”
Human Robotics, founded in 2017, initially aimed to create robots to care for elderly people. Currently, the company has five different models of robots that serve more than 100 customers.
The video, recorded spontaneously by a consumer at the Barra da Tijuca Supermarket, in Rio de Janeirohad an extremely positive repercussion.
The company reveals that new customers have already expressed interest in the product after the video went viral, highlighting the public’s positive acceptance of the friendly and useful presence of robots in everyday environments.
