Have you ever thought about getting one? charger induction capable of charging multiple devices simultaneously? Tesla, a company known for its innovative charging concept, is about to launch such a product.

Although the induction charging process is not innovative, this method has become popular among the public, since there is no need to insert cables to perform the task, but simply place your cell phone on top and charging will begin.

However, the device developed by Tesla that allows charging up to three compatible devices has a very similar look to one of the products developed by Apple, called “Apple AirPower”, but which ended up no longer being sold.

However, this is not the case with the “Tesla Wireless Charging Platform”. It is currently being sold for around US$300, equivalent to around R$1,500, at the exchange rate of March 2023.

The product weighs around 1kg and is 220 x 130 mm. If you want to know the approximate real dimensions, just fold a sheet of paper in half and you will be able to get a quick idea.

The “Tesla Wireless Charging Platform” charger does not have a major difference between other products that perform the same service, in terms of design.

Loading time

It is well known that the charging time on an induction device tends to be much slower, compared to charging via a wire. Therefore, if you are looking for a charger that speeds up the process, it will be much more advantageous to connect it to the socket.

But, as for the “Tesla Wireless Charging Platform”, the average is that there is a 15W charge on Android devices and 7.5W on other devices, such as the iPhone.

The charging base has a power of 65W, connected to a USB-C GaN source, with a USB-C cable. Another point worth highlighting is that Tesla’s new induction charger does not work with Apple Watch.
