After some interactions with OpenAI’s ChatGPT in 2016, Bill Gates predicted that this tool represented a technological breakthrough that would change society.
He anticipated that AI has the potential to change the way people work, learn, travel, receive medical care, and communicate with each other. He came to this conclusion about artificial intelligence after the chatbot asked him the following question: “What would you say to a father with a sick child?”
At the time, Gates had asked the team for a big challenge to test ChatGPT. So, the chabot was subjected to Advanced Placement testing, a situation for which the tool had never been trained.
