It seems that Apple brand enthusiasts will soon come across big news. A Apple Apple Inc. is planning significant adjustments to its AirPods lineup in response to the unsatisfactory performance of the third-generation headphone.
The company, led by Tim Cook, is restructuring its current offer, which consists of three versions: two in the base model and one in the Pro version of the device.
These new features promise to be a notable reformulation of the devices, especially meeting the demands of users, who expressed dissatisfaction with detected problems.

Strategy for new AirPods aims to boost sales
The main concern revolved around the low sales performance of AirPods third generation. This was due to the fact that, although they have a slightly higher price compared to the second generation, they offer practically the same features already known to users.
In theory, they do not justify exchanging old headphones for a more recent generation. Therefore, in order to offer greater value to users, Apple plans to launch a new generation of AirPods in 2024, in two variants.
Although both remain below the Pro model, they will incorporate some borrowed elements, as reported by Bloomberg.
The case of the most advanced version of the fourth generation will feature a speaker for Find My function, while the headphones will have noise cancellation. However, the level will be lower than the Pro, as they will not have cushions.
Additionally, the stem that extends out of the ear will be shorter, to resemble what the AirPods Pro currently offer.
Therefore, the second and third generation AirPods will be gradually discontinued by the end of this year, bringing forward the launch of the fourth generation. The objective is to highlight the most striking differences, although with prices similar to current ones.
The AirPods Pro Max, the high-performance headphones from Apple launched in 2020 and which, to date, have not received improvements, are also scheduled for an update scheduled for the end of 2024.
Regarding the AirPods Pro, currently in their second generation, a third version is expected to be launched in 2025.
