Archaeologists made a surprising discovery by identifying a Bronze Age arrowhead dating back approximately 3,500 years. Although it is not of alien origin, in the sense of being created by life forms from another planet, the object is considered spatial because it was made from a meteorite, that is, it truly has an extraterrestrial origin.

The discovery took place at an archaeological site in Mörigen, in Switzerland, and the piece was already on display at the Historical Museum in Bern. However, recent research has revealed the true origin of this finding.
The study’s lead author, Beda Hofmann, head and curator of mineralogy and meteorites at the Natural History Museum in Bern, explained that, at first glance, the piece appeared to be a typical arrowhead covered in rust.
However, further analysis revealed a significant presence of preserved metal. The research not only confirmed the meteoritic origin of the metal, but highlighted the importance of this discovery for understanding the interaction between ancient humans and meteorites.
According to Hofmann, the arrowhead will be displayed again at the Bern Historical Museum between February 1, 2024 and April 25, 2025, offering the public the opportunity to contemplate this fascinating object that brings with it a unique history.
