What is the best fixed internet in Brazil?
According to the survey called “Barometer of fixed Internet connections in Brazil”, carried out by nPerf, Vivo stood out as the operator with the best fixed broadband speeds in the country. Therefore, if you are a Vivo subscriber, you can be worry-free.
The period analyzed comprised the second half of 2022 and the first half of 2023. Vivo achieved leadership in all indicators, including the best download speed, the best upload speed and the best latency.
To give you an idea, the average download speed delivered by Vivo was 225.5 Mbps. This exceeds the national average for the same period, which was 205 Mbps. Claro reached a speed of 184.22 Mbps, while Oi reached 148.84 Mbps.
Regarding the testing of Upload, Vivo maintained its leadership position, obtaining an average of 124.11 Mbps. In this scenario, Oi surpassed Claro, with speeds of 94.13 Mbps and 47.62 Mbps, respectively. The national average upload speed between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023 was 97 Mb/s.
