You casinos are not allowed in Brazil. However, in much of the world, they are active. One of the most well-known games in this field is roulette, which, for many, is just another game of chance. However, others believe that it can be classified as a game of luck or even mathematics.

In this sense, according to Bloomberg, there is a man who has the ability to win this game with just his head and mathematics. Croatian Niko Tosa, who is a physicist and mathematician, travels the world in disguise and with false documents to win this game, which until now was impossible to hack.

Even the illustrious Stephen Hawking claimed he was unable to win.

“It is practically impossible to predict the number that will rise [na roleta].Otherwise, physicists would make a fortune in the casinos.”says Hawking.

How does the roulette game work?

First of all, it is necessary to present, for those who do not know, the roulette. Basically, roulette is a numbered wheel. The game consists of betting inside or outside. In the outside bet, it is possible to indicate a group of numbers that can be black, red, odd, even, low or high.

In the case of inside bets, you must choose specific numbered boxes, which can be one or up to six numbers. In this sense, after placing bets, the dealer spins the roulette wheel and throws a ball that will land on a certain number.

Theoretically, in perfect roulette, the ball will always land on a random slot. However, Niko realized that this almost never happens. This caused the physicist to win so many times that he became the target of investigation from the London police in 2004.

Investigators believed that Niko and his friends were using some kind of computerized device to cheat.

What is the physicist’s technique, after all?

According to Niko, over time, the roulette wheel begins to develop imperfections that are a reflection of constant use. Consequently, it ends up creating falling patterns that force the ball to climb a slope, slow down and land in the same spot in almost every spin.

Soon, the rounds become predictable, this, together with the powerful brain of a mathematician, allows you to win most games.
