More than 5 million IT scholarships are offered by Microsoft and the MTE

The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) has partnered with Microsoft to offer more than five million scholarships in Information Technology (IT). The courses will be free and come with certification. Let’s learn a little more about the proposal.

The partnership developed the Caminho Digital program, in which 5.5 million places for online courses will be offered on the Escola do Trabalhador 4.0 platform.

Thus, the intention of the initiative is to meet the growing demand in the job market, which is experiencing a shortage of specialized IT professionals.

The program will offer more than 134 courses in the area of ​​information technology. There will be everything from basic digital literacy courses to advanced programming modules. The courses are divided into seven programs ranging from basic to advanced levels.

What is included in the program?

The program will offer free access to the Office 365 package to all registrants. In addition, another advantage of the course is the continuous online tutorials, which will help students throughout the course.

All courses are free of charge for those enrolled, and students can take as many modules as they want. However, to continue to the next module, students must have fully completed the previous one.

And for each course completed in the training cycle, the student will receive a certificate with the seal of Microsoft and the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
