If you are looking for scholarship opportunities in the technology field, this article is for you! Recently, Google, together with the Center for Business-School Integration (CIEE), launched another 60 thousand bags for courses in the technology area.
CIEE is a non-profit social welfare organization. In this sense, the organization offers young people and students different opportunities to enter the job market through its internship and apprenticeship programs.
Apparently, the courses are 100% online, completely free of charge and include a professional certificate issued by Cousera upon completion of the course. In total, 60,000 scholarships will be offered for four different areas.
Therefore, the main objective of the partnership is to strengthen ties between students, apprentices, interns and professionals in the job market, so that it is possible to improve their resumes and make them even more competitive.
Free technology courses
For those interested, the courses are: IT Support, Data Analysis, Project Management and UX Design.
Regarding the courses, Google Brazil’s marketing director, Maia Mau, states that:
“We are aware of the market demand for qualified professionals in this area and therefore we understand the importance of investing in training young people or people who want to change fields so that they can become excellent professionals.”
To take the courses, you do not need to have previous experience or knowledge in the areas offered. In fact, you only need to complete the enrollment and commit to completing the course over a period of up to 4 months in order to obtain the Google Professional Certification.
