As soon as the unification between HBO Max and Discovery+ into a single streaming platform titled Max was released, users were eager to know what subscription plans would be available.
In response, Warner then made the new values available as quickly as possible, also sharing how they will work.
Now, you can learn about the new plans available on the Max platform and their respective prices. It is important to note that the new platform will only be available in the United States from May 2023, and in Brazil, probably by the end of the second half of the year.

Subscription plans available on the new Max
It is important to note that the values are currently in dollars, but the monthly fees applied in Brazil will soon be announced.
- 1st plan – Max Ad-Lite | US$ 9.99/month or US$ 99.99/year
The first plan, called Max Ad-Lite, offers the possibility of watching two screens simultaneously, image quality around 1080p and sound quality in 5.1. Downloads are not allowed.
- 2nd plan – Max Ad Free | US$ 15.99/month or US$ 149.99/year
The second plan, Max Ad Free, allows you to watch two screens simultaneously, with 1080p image quality, 5.1 sound quality and the possibility of making up to 30 downloads.
- 3rd plan – Max Ultimate Ad Free | US$ 19.99/month or US$ 199.99/year
The third plan, Max Ultimate Ad Free, is the most complete and offers the possibility of watching up to four screens simultaneously, with images transmitted in 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos sound quality. With this plan, you can make up to 100 downloads.
Other information
The Max platform also announced that existing HBO Max subscribers in the United States will be able to access the platform for up to six months. In addition, the history of series and other content stored in “My List” and “Continue Watching” will be maintained on the new platform.
