For the first time, Samsung storage and memory products arrive in Brazil

Our devices, especially computers, notebooks and, in some cases, video games, require a lot of memory and storage space, don’t they? Therefore, there are never too many new options on the market when it comes to technology.

Now, some new features have arrived on the Brazilian market from Samsung, which recently launched a line of Solid State Drive storage, the famous and desired SSDs, as well as memory devices.

The new features include NVMe and SATA hardware, some of the most advanced technologies available on the market.

For the first time in Brazil, the Samsung brings a complete line of storage hardware, some of these powerful components work in computers, whether they are cabinets, also known as desktops or notebooks, cell phones and even modern video games, which accept accessory technology.

Memory Cards

Two of the main launches are memory cards aimed at cell phones, drones and tablets. They are the Pro Plus MicroSD, with sequential reading capacity of up to 180 MB/s and the EVO Plus MicroSD and with transfers reaching 130 MB/s.

Both products also offer resistance to water, drops and high temperatures, with storage options that can reach up to 256GB. Prices vary, but start at R$59.

Other products

Among the other launches are SSDs with the SATA standard, which arrive in two versions, the SSD 870 EVO SATA III and the SSD 870 QVO SATA III, which can reach up to 4TB of storage. Prices for these products start at R$1,249.

In addition to SATA SSDs, Samsung also brought the NVMe 980 SSD model, aimed at consumers with devices with an M.2 connector. Here, storage reaches 1TB, and can be purchased from R$289.

Last but not least, the company also announced the arrival of portable SSDs, with options that can reach up to 4TB of storage, combining practicality and efficiency. The devices of storage laptops arrive here for a starting price of R$659.
