Last year, the youtuber Casimir broke records by registering the highest number of simultaneous viewers in a broadcast during the Men’s World Cup.
The YouTuber was already very famous for his lives and his videos. By broadcasting the World Cup games via YouTube and Twitch, he allowed a large number of people to quickly and easily access the games.
Logically, this brought a lot of profits to the YouTuber, as well as an abundance of subscribers and views. Therefore, Casimiro decided to dedicate more of his channels to broadcasting games.
Since everything was done within the law, he managed to obtain the broadcasting rights for the games. As a result, it was not only the Men’s World Cup that was a hit on Casimiro’s channel, but also the Club World Cup and the Campeonato Carioca, popularly known as the “Cariocão”.
Therefore, it was no surprise when, on March 31st, Casimiro announced that he had acquired the broadcast rights for Women’s World Cup.
Casimiro to broadcast 2023 Women’s World Cup
This year, the competition will be held in Australia and New Zealand. Due to his great success with broadcasting games, Casimiro took the opportunity to take advantage of this great opportunity. In partnership with LiveMode, his channel, CazéTV, will broadcast the games on both YouTube and Twitch.
Just as was done in the Men’s World Cup, all games will be broadcast daily on the channel, with live narration and commentary.
And, speaking of which, in addition to the announcement of the broadcast of the games, Casimiro also announced that the journalist Fernanda Gentil was hired to participate in the broadcasts with him.
Gentil became well-known for her work in the sports section of Rede Globo, having even covered the men’s world championships in 2010, 2014 and 2018.
Apparently, CazéTV will be in great competition with the broadcaster, as it also has rights to broadcast the games, whether on open or closed channels, with Globo and SporTV.
One way or another, the games will be available to watch in July and August. The opening game will be on July 20 between the New Zealand and Norway teams.
Finally, as for the Brazilian National Team, it will make its debut on July 24th, at 8 am Brasília time.
