At some point in your life, you may have heard a story about the Bermuda Triangle. The area is bounded by the extremes of the islands of Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Miami, in the United States, forming an equilateral triangle with an area of over one and a half million square meters.
This area is surrounded by many mysteries and speculations, due to different reports of ships and planes disappearing in the area.
This sparked a number of different conspiracy theories about the disappearances, linking them to some supernatural phenomenon.
Could there be a black hole in this place or could it be the surface of Atlantis, the lost continent? Maybe there are sea monsters in this area that make anyone who passes by the place disappear?
All of these theories have emerged over the years. However, to date, there is no concrete evidence to support these theories. Furthermore, many of these disappearances remain unexplained.
In this sense, an Australian scientist sought to clarify the reasons why there are so many stories of disappearances in this area. Do you want to know the mystery behind the Bermuda Triangle? Keep reading because we will tell you everything about it!
Scientist solves Bermuda Triangle mystery

The Bermuda Triangle’s supernatural reputation has been challenged by Australian scientist Karl Kruszelnicki in conjunction with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA).
For years, both have maintained that there is no mystery in the Bermuda Triangle. According to them, the disappearance of ships and planes is a statistical fact.
“There is no evidence that mysterious disappearances occur more frequently in the Bermuda Triangle than in any other large, well-traveled area of the ocean.”NOAA pointed out.
In this sense, in reality, environmental and climatic conditions and the fact that the triangle is one of the busiest routes in the world cause many accidents and disappearances to occur in the region.
According to NOAA:
“The US Navy and US Coast Guard say there are no supernatural explanations for disasters at sea.
Their experience suggests that the combined forces of nature and human fallibility surpass even the most incredulous science fiction.”.
