Jorge Masvidal doesn’t believe he and Colby Covington will shake hands after their collision at UFC 272. The fight between Masvidal and Covington is something many MMA fans have wanted for a very long time.

Masvidal recently answered some questions from the media at UFC 272’s post-fight press conference. During the session, Masvidal was asked if he expected Covington to try to resolve the conflict after the fight was over.
In answering this, Masvidal revealed that there was no chance of such a thing to happen since both fighters knew each other completely. Masvidal said Covington would not give him a chance to get close to where he can beat him again. Masvidal revealed that he did not respect Covington for talking nonsense about his children and his religion.
“He knows me through and through and you know he would never dare to do that through you. He would never come close to me in any situation or anything like that. He leaves no chance for me to get his ass off again. Especially because he’s talking about my kids… he’s doing what he’s doing. I can’t respect‘ said Masvidal.
It’s not impossible to wait Covington forget everything and show respect to your opponents. In his final fight with the heavyweight champion Kamaru Osman He met fighter Usman at UFC 268. In that talk, Covington said of the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ that the bullshit talk was just to sell pay-per-view and nothing more. But that may not be the case between Masvidal and Covington, because unlike other rivalries this is extremely real and dangerous.
