UFC promotion rising star Paddy Pimblett faced Jared Gordon in a three-round lightweight fight at the joint main event of UFC 282. 2022 has come to an end. Having finished three times in the UFC, Pimblett failed to finish off her opponent at the T-Mobile Arena, forcing a judge-determined result.

A recent video shows that even UFC commentator Joe Rogan wasn’t too happy with the jury’s decision.

In the main event, the fight between Blachowicz and Ankalaev was called a split draw, and the UFC commentator thought Magomed Ankalaev should have won the fight.

Paddy Pimblett tells Joe Rogan the fight isn’t imminent

After the verdict was announced, Pimblett interviewed Joe Rogan in the octagon. UFC 282. The UFC commentator opened the interview with these words: “A paddy nearby,” and before he could finish his sentence, the Liverpool fighter interrupted Rogan to claim the fight wasn’t nearly as close. No, it wasn’t. This was not close. He only checked on me on the third,” said Bad Paddy.

After dismissing the idea that the fight was imminent, Pimblett went on to once again dig into MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, with whom she had recently fought. Rogan clearly didn’t get involved in the joke and kept asking about the fight. Clearly a fan-favourite, Pimblett has gradually tarnished her public image with her latest antics both inside and outside the octagon. Fighter may still be one of the biggest stars on the roster but he’s definitely been flattering in the eyes of fans.

All the antics aside, this win over Jared Gordon extends Pimblett’s octagonal winning streak to 4 fights. The fighter is yet to be beaten in the UFC octagon and is expected in the lightweight division with many worthy opponents waiting to take him down.
