“Boycott Your Fight” – UFC’s Anthony Smith finds a solution to MMA’s 5-0 Jake Paul problem

Anthony Smith is not a fan of Jake Paul and his boxing career. The light heavyweight contender in the UFC has been impressive lately and has had some harsh words, especially about the approach MMA fighters should take when dealing with Paul.

Paul was a full-time YouTuber until a few years ago when he stepped into boxing with a few show fights. After gaining his trust, Paul turned pro and beat two former MMA Champions in boxing in the process. More recently, the middleweight’s greatest champion has managed to secure a decision victory over the consensus Anderson Silva. This legitimized Silva’s skills as a boxer despite his age.

Speaking on the BYM Podcast, Smith clarified his thoughts on Paul. said, “We should all boycott the rest of his fights until we fight someone at his level or whatever level we consider him to be.” Smith was offended by the barrage of insults thrown at the UFC by Paul and said: “You’re all talking about MMA fighters, bullshit about the UFC, then pretending you want to bring out the fighters and you want everybody to make better money, but every time you fight, you ruin everybody.”

Smith He believes it’s the industry of MMA veterans “put food on the table” For Paul and his boxing venture. “Older, shorter, smaller, we’ve left behind major legends who spent their entire careers dedicating their bodies to goddamn car crashes, and we hold these guys close and dear to our hearts.” said Smith, expressing his anger. Paul He still talks nonsense about sports even though it’s the reason he makes money.

“Go fuck yourself, like why are we fawning over this piece of shit”said Smith as he finished his message.

Why are so many MMA veterans fighting Jake Paul?

The reason why so many MMA fighters seek a payday in boxing after retiring is simple. A better payday than most they’ve seen in their careers. Add to that the fact that the ego of being a fighter your whole life makes it seem like beating a guy who just started training 4 years ago, which makes the offer all the more enticing.
