The Cincinnati Bengals caught everyone off guard this NFL season, proving nearly every skeptic and hater wrong. The team had a great season and finished with a Super Bowl appearance. They came close to winning but the final drive didn’t work in their favor. Regardless, this season spawned the league’s latest dynamic duo, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. They both shared a long history of going to LSU and winning the National Championship, but the NFL is a whole different league.
Chase didn’t start great, he struggled hard in the pre-season, which has convinced the team and analysts that he may be underperforming this season. At one point, the striker complained about the ball being used in the games, which caused people to worry even more and call out their excuses. But we all know what happened when the season started, Ja’Marr became Ja’Marr and his chemistry with Burrow just clicked, every match got better from then on.
“He’s definitely someone we want back,” said the Los Angeles Rams of signing Odell Beckham Jr, even after acquiring Allen Robinson.

Chase tells an interesting story that gives us a clue that Joe Burrow’s instincts in real life are just as good as his on the football field.
“Oh, make sure your bag is packed and ready.” That’s all, Chase said that Burrow sent him this text message and predicted that he would come to Cincinnati if he was still on the board when the 5th election came. Burrow didn’t send it to Chase on draft night or while things were going on, but even sent it to him the night before the official NFL Draft.
“He told me that the night before the draft, all I said was okay, I didn’t believe it.” Chase said he thought Joe was either good or overly optimistic, predicting that they would both be on the same team. He just took it with a grain of salt and left it without taking it seriously.
As fate would have it, Joey B was right. Chase really needed to pack his bags and head to Cincinnati to reunite with the quarterback. From that moment on, everything became history…
