Call of Duty: Warzone Pro Jukeyz Awakens from Coma

Call of Duty: Warzone pro player Jukeyz recently fell into an induced coma 3 days ago on September 27. Fortunately, the pro was only in a coma for 2 days and woke up yesterday. Liam’s (Jukeyz) family has confirmed that Warzone pro is now awake, and one of the first things they asked was if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was out yet!

Jukeyz is the content creator and publisher of the London Royal Ravens Call of Duty League series. A participant since 2019, Jukeyz has participated in numerous Warzone tournaments and signed with the London Royale Ravens in August 2020. The esports professional and broadcaster recently had a child with his girlfriend back in August.

On September 27, Liam’s partner Emily took to Twitter to let her fans and followers know that the creator had an asthma attack and her heart had stopped. Emily said the member of the London Royal Ravens responded well to the medication despite being in a medically induced coma.

2 days after the health crisis, Jukeyz’s family informed the public that Jukeyz was awake and healthy. The family also said that Jukeyz asked if Activision’s upcoming game in the series, Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), has been released. Fans, fellow CoD players, and creators were relieved to read that Jukeyz not only got better, but looked good.

Fortunately, Jukeyz was in a coma for as little as 2 days. However, we still have some time before MW2 launches on October 28th. While Jukeyz is healthy enough to ask about his longtime favorite franchise, it may just need a few more days of recovery before it can go back to streaming or competition.

It’s too soon for Jukeyz to consider going back to gaming and streaming. Despite being conscious enough to talk and ask about his release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, playing the game is a different business all together. It will take some more time for the Warzone pro to get back to his old self, but he got off to a good start by waking up healthy from his coma.
