In the first ODI match between India and the West Indies, the former defeated the latter by just three runs at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad. After the match ended, West Indies legend Brian Lara caught up with Indian legend Rahul Dravid.
Lara is from Trinidad and was one of several former West Indies players who were there to watch the game. Dravidian and Lara played against each other in the 1990s and 2000s.
The Cricket Control Board (BCCI) in India also took to Twitter to share the photo of Lara and David.

“We trust you” – Yuzvendra Chahal says Rahul Dravid always supports him
Yuzvendra Chahal held Brandon King’s stronghold to gain supremacy over India. Chahal thanked India head coach Rahul Dravid for trusting him in tough matches. “The coach always supports me. Chahal told me after the match, ‘Yuzi just take back your strength, we trust you’. “And when coaches and management give you this much confidence, you are always ready to go and perform,” he added.
Chahal swam two rooks and conceded 58 runs. He was the main bowler in Jasprit Bumrah’s absence. Ravindra Jadejaand Mohammad Shami.
“This change came from the IPL, because I was bowling there 16th, 17th and 18th, so I got confidence from there. My role was clear, I was told to do two-three overs after lap 40. So I train accordingly and with our bowling coach as well. I’m doing plan.”
