Saurashtra speed Jaydev Unadkat 12 years later, he received a Test call to replace Mohammed Shami, who was injured in the upcoming match against Bangladesh (who hurt his shoulder). When the news broke, the cricketer also wrote a heartfelt tweet to share his gratitude.

The 31-year-old player has recently made a sensation with the ball. He recently led Saurashtra to the Vijay Hazare Trophy, taking 19 wickets this season. He played an integral part in the roster that won the 2019/20 Ranji Trophy title and floated a record-breaking 67 goals that season.
He debuted on the Test team as a junior against South Africa in 2010, but went heartless in India’s one innings and 25-round defeat. His First Test was also his last game for India until called up. He played 116 matches and claimed 168 wickets in List A cricket, while in first class cricket he took 353 wickets in just 96 matches.

Alongside Jaydev Unadkat, BCCI also made significant changes to the roster.
Moreover Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) made a few changes to the roster after regular captain Rohit Sharma was eliminated in Test 1 at Chattogram after suffering a left thumb injury. He stuck his thumb out after attempting a catch against Bangladesh in the 2nd ODI that kept him out of the 3rd ODI. He flew to Mumbai for private consultation and was subsequently removed from Test 1.
All India Senior Selection Committee elected Abhimanyu Easwaran to replace Rohit. KL Rahul will lead the team and Test veteran Cheteshwar Pujara will be his sidekick.
