Tara Badie, Senior Director of Strategy, explained the project’s features in detail. She states that this product, in addition to carrying the symbolism and memory of the old Tamagotchi, adapts to the new needs of today’s world.
Now, one of the highlights is the virtual pet’s ability to communicate. It has already been confirmed that it will be able to interact in the following languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese.
In addition, each user will be able to customize their companion with different clothes and accessories that can be shared among friends.
Security and release issues
The product is scheduled to launch on July 15th, and TikTok influencer Charli D’Amelio will be the one to announce its availability. Available in purple and pink, the watch is recommended for ages 6 and up and has parental controls.
