1. Sharing with AirDrop

With the new AirDrop feature, called “NameDrop”, the security, ease and speed of sharing content between two Apple users is even greater. By simply bringing two iPhones or even an Apple Watch together, it is possible to send photo files, videos and even music playlists shared via SharePlay.

2. Screen saver in StandBy

iOS 17’s new “Standby” feature turns your iPhone into a digital clock with widgets of your choice to show the temperature, time, notifications and many other useful information while the smartphone is in landscape position and not in use.

Additionally, on the iPhone 14 Pro, the feature already exists and is available with the “Always-On Display” function.

3. ‘Hey Siri’ becomes ‘Siri’

In the operating system update, the way to call Apple’s Artificial Intelligence has become even better. Thinking about practicality and objectivity, the company changed the call to just “Siri”, instead of the old “Hey Siri”.

Additionally, it will be possible to make several consecutive commands without having to activate the AI ​​again, making the conversation much more interactive and realistic.

4. Contact Poster

Now, iPhone users will be able to customize their screen display during calls in their own way. That is, with the new “Contact Poster” feature, it will be possible to add photos, images and effects that will appear on the iPhone screen when the user receives a call.
