Other ways to play the game
Recently, the renowned YouTuber and streamer known as Punchy performed a truly impressive feat that reverberated throughout the gaming community.
In an unprecedented act of dedication and skill, he undertook an incredible 13-hour marathon of non-stop gameplay, recording his entire journey in a compact and fascinating video.
The challenge that Punchy decided to face and overcome was dubbed moving the character without taking a step and yes, you read that correctly, this is possible.
The feat consisted of controlling the character within the game without using the traditional commands of walking or running. This challenge required a keen understanding of the game’s mechanics and unparalleled dexterity.
Punchy himself admitted that the idea was inspired by an earlier video made by the renowned gaming magazine Famitsuin which another player demonstrated this remarkable skill.
The YouTuber used a very interesting strategy to move the character in the game without taking a single step. He managed to do this by aiming a weapon and then quickly releasing the aim.
Each time he repeated this movement of aiming and releasing the aim, the character would slide slightly on the terrain. This allowed him to move very slowly, but continuously.
This technique required a lot of skill and patience, especially since it was necessary to perform the movements with precision to obtain the desired movement. Since each movement was small, moving significantly through the game took a lot of time and effort.
Despite being a different and unconventional strategy, the YouTuber managed to master this special technique, which made him able to overcome the challenge of moving the character without using his legs.
Resilience
As mentioned earlier, this feat is not unprecedented, and other players have already tried to move the character without taking a step. However, one difficulty encountered by these players was the section where it was necessary to take a train to escape Racoon City.
This crucial moment had a strict time limit, and because Leon moved slowly while utilizing this unusual strategy, many ended up giving up on completing the challenge.
However, the YouTuber in question managed to transcend the adversities, surpassing previous expectations. His dedication and skill led him to a surprising discovery: when aiming and shooting the weapon, the character moved faster.
This revelation was the crucial point that made all the difference. By using this new approach, the YouTuber was able to maximize Leon’s speed, allowing him to gain the precious time needed to reach the train and escape the city.
