The 2022 FIFA World Cup is on the horizon and the football frenzy is ready to take over the world. One of the ambassadors of the tournament, David Beckham, teamed up with NFL legend Peyton Manning to shoot a promotional video for the Frito-Lays World Cup.
The dynamic duo, who are well known all over the world, shared candid moments together during the commercial shoot. Both superstars urged the other to try their hand at their sport, and this sparked a hilarious conversation between the two.
The ad was hilarious on its own, as both Manning and Beckham debated what to name their respective sports, whether it’s soccer or football. It also includes names like ex-Mexican forward Chicharito Hernandez, Julie Fowdy, ex-US goalkeeper Tim Howard.

David Beckham and Peyton Manning teamed up to shoot a pre-World Cup commercial.

The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback tried to teach David Beckham a lesson in making quarterback shots, the latter picking it up extremely quickly. Beckham made a number of good passes for Manning and received praise from the quarterback.
“This is good!” Manning explained. “Good grip! I love the high swing!” Manning was quick to point out that Beckham’s passes were not perfect, and the ball swayed in the air. However, he saw the funny side, claiming that the “flickering pass” was his invention.

Manning was criticized many times for his passing technique during his playing days, but his passes were perfectly accurate, so it didn’t really bother the two-time Super Bowl champion. Beckham also managed to surprise the NFL compatriot with his welcoming skills, praising the former Real Madrid star for his “soft hands”.
After a while, the duo switched sports as David Beckham tried to give Peyton a taste of European football this time, and Peyton didn’t seem very responsible. “I can’t exercise” Manning had a mild response.. However, it’s still great to see two stalwarts from different sports get together and try their hand at various sports.
