Michael Irvin BRUTALLY turns down Stephen A Smith’s offer to include the Cowboys.

For now, it looks like Cooper Rush will be the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. But Stephen A Smith suggested the name Colin Kaepernick as a potential solution for the Dallas Cowboys. Speaking on “First Take,” Stephen A Smith suggested the name of Colin Kaepernick, with the unsigned Lamar Jackson also getting into the argument.

“I don’t think that will ever happen, but he might want to make that call to Colin Kaepernick.” Smith aforementioned. “Might want to find out – he’s not around now, but a quarterback with legs, who’s available. I don’t think that’s going to happen because this is the state of Texas and the whole Kaepernick narrative is patriotic individuals they’re proud of because they’ve been kidnapped. Jerry Jones won’t let things get in the way. But I would think about it – I would say that.”

However, Michael Irvin quickly ended this discussion and said that Colin Kaepernick has been away from professional football for 5 years and has no chance of influencing the Dallas Cowboys. Instead, Michael Irvin said Cooper Rush would have been a better choice.

“Let’s stop this Colin Kaepernick thing before everybody tries to take it and run.” said Irvin. “Let’s stop. Colin Kaepernick has been away from football for five years. Let’s stop trying to resurrect Colin Kaepernick and think he’s going to come and resurrect a football team. I’ll try my luck with Cooper Rush. I saw Cooper Rush win a football game last year. That’s all I’m saying.”
