Stephen Stiles Gilmore He’s a name to be reckoned with in the NFL world. The veteran corner player will now play for the Indianapolis Colts in the league’s next season. Gilmore played college football for South Carolina and impressed everyone with his performances.
He was roped in by the Bills in the 2012 NFL draft. In 2017, he signed a 5-year, $65 million contract with the New England Patriots. Gilmore is considered one of the best defensive players in the league. In fact, he was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.

However, the immensely talented corner player suffered a quadruple injury that took him off the field for nearly a year. Stephon was traded to the Panthers in October last year. He took part in eight matches for panthers a total of 16 treatments and two interventions. Recently, he was roped in by the Colts.
Speaking of the same, Gilmore said, “I think the Colts came in and I talked to the coaches and it felt right. It was one of the things that felt right in my heart to be here, especially with the talent on the team. Last year, watching them from afar, what they were doing and they were right there, I just wanted to come in and help the team get over this hump.”
“Every year you have to prove yourself, so every year I get this mentality”Gilmore stated, as reported by the Associated Press. “I have to win it. You can’t do that without putting in the work, going out and earning every week.”
It will be interesting to see if Stephon can do his best for the Colts next season.
