Some applications are developed specifically to perform this task. Among the best known for this purpose, Truecaller and Whoscall stand out. They help identify the owner of a number on WhatsApp. To do this, the user will need to use the search bar of these applications. It is possible to search using numbers and names.
The tools also provide results such as name, location of origin and the option to block the contact. It is worth remembering that the option to block unknown numbers has already been released by WhatsApp itself. Just go to the app’s privacy settings and activate it.
