Usually, you will only find one share button when you share files from Google Drive. And this makes things easier. However, people are often confused when they want to share a Google Form. You can share Google Forms in a number of ways. What are those roads? Find the answer in this post. Here we will guide you how to share Google Forms with anyone on mobile and computer.
You can share Google Forms in three ways. First, the form can be shared directly with anyone whose responses you want to record. You will need to use the Submit button to achieve this.
Second, you can add collaborators to your form using the Share or Collaborator button. Collaborators can view and edit the form structure and view responses. Finally, you can share a copy of the form.
Let’s check all the methods.
Method 1: How to Share a Fillable Google Form
This method will help you distribute your form so others can fill it out. For example, a company may share the survey form with its users to develop a product. Similarly, teachers can create quizzes for students or surveys for parents.
To share a fillable Google Form, follow these steps:
Stage 1: Open the required Google Form.
Fly: You will find all your Google Forms in Google Drive.
Step 2: On PC, click the Submit button at the top of the form.

On mobile, tap the Submit icon at the top of the form.

Stage 3: You can now send the form to recipients in three ways. Click the appropriate option next to Send via tag.
First, you can add the email addresses of the people you want to share the form with. Only added persons can fill out the form.

Second, you can share the form via a link. So anyone with the link can access and fill out the form. Send the generated link to your email, social media, etc. copy and paste. You can use this method to send Google Form links via WhatsApp.
Fly: Check the box next to Shorten URL to reduce the size of the link.

Finally, click the third icon if you want to embed the form in a web page. You will find the HTML code. Copy and paste the code into your web page to embed it.

Method 2: How to Share Google Form Structure with Others
By default, only the form creator can add or edit questions on the form. However, the creator can add collaborators who can change the form structure. For example, multiple teachers can work on the same Google Form. Similarly, multiple business managers can collaborate to create a survey form.
Note: You can use this method to share the Google Form directly from Google Drive without opening the form. A best practice would be to open the Google Form first and then share it as shown in all methods.
Here are the steps to add collaborators on PC and mobile devices.
Stage 1: Open the actual Google Form from a link or Google Drive.
Step 2: Click on the three dots icon at the top. Select Add collaborator from the menu.

Alternatively, click the Submit button at the top of the form. Click Add collaborator from the window that appears.

Stage 3: The add editor window will open.

By default, only the email addresses you add can modify the form. Under the Get link section you will see Restricted indicated. Type the email addresses of the people you want to add as collaborators. Click the Submit or Done button.

If you want someone with the link to view and edit the structure of the form, click Change under Get link.

Click the small arrow next to Restricted. Select Anyone with the link. Then copy and paste the link and share it with anyone who can edit the structure of your form.

Method 3: How to Share a Copy of the Google Form
With the second method, editors can edit the form and view the responses. What if you just want to share the structure of the form with others without giving you the ability to edit the form or view responses? You will need to use a workaround for this. So, make a copy of your Google Form and share that copy with others. By doing this, your original form will remain intact and others will only see the copy of the form. Even if they edit the copy, the original form will remain as it is.
To create a copy of your form, open the Google Form and click the three dots icon. Select Make a copy.

You will be asked to give the form a name and choose the location in Google Drive. Click OK.

Start Google Drive and open the copy of the form. Then share using the second method.

Troubleshooting: Anyone Can Edit Google Form
If other users or respondents can still edit the structure of the form, make sure they are not added as collaborators. For this repeat the steps mentioned in the method above i.e. open the Google Form, click on the three dots icon and select Add collaborator.

Here you will see the names of people other than you who can edit the form. Click the Editor drop-down box and select Uninstall.

Make Sure of the Connection
We hope you have found the best way to share your Google Forms with others. If you’ve already shared a link or want to make sure you’re sharing the correct link to fill out and edit the form, open the link in your browser’s incognito mode. This will help you confirm the connection.
