He revealed this information during an interview with the agency Reuters. According to Meta, only public posts were used.
The decision not to include posts that were configured as private in their training dataset was made because they believed this would be the best path.
In other words, those publications visible only to the user’s friends or family were not used in the training. Furthermore, they also did not include private messages that were exchanged between users.
