The end of prints? Nubank launches new feature and takes customers by surprise

Last month, in March, the digital bank Nubank made a new update available for cell phones with the system Android. Now, it is no longer allowed to capture your cell phone screen (take a screenshot of the Nubank app), at least while you are performing some function through the application.

The main purpose of this limitation is to give users an extra layer of security to prevent any hacking or leaking of personal information. By blocking screenshots while the application is open, some viruses are prevented from accessing customers’ bank accounts.

This news was revealed by the official website of the digital bank Nubank. Initially, the creation of this process was developed to prevent the accidental disclosure of data, especially the access password and account balance.

However, anyone who believes that this feature of avoiding prints at Nubank is new is mistaken. This is because it has already been put into practice for a long time, mainly by other companies and even fintechs.

This way, if the account owner accidentally takes a screenshot, they won’t run the risk of having their data leaked, as the application will block this information at the time of capture.

How to issue a Pix receipt if there is no printout?

Although this function can be a hindrance when taking a screenshot of a receipt, there is another option for this, which is much safer, by the way: you can save the receipt manually using the options available in the Nubank app itself.

Now, if you don’t know how to do this, don’t worry; just follow the steps below after making a Pix or paying a bill:

  • Have you completed the transaction? Go to “Open/Send receipt”;
  • Then select the share icon;
  • Your phone should show some sharing options, such as frequent contacts from WhatsApp, Gmail, etc.;
  • Choose where you would like to send proof of payment;
  • The application will then continue to provide information on the path to send the receipt based on your choice.

So, what do you think of this new feature from Nubank? Tell us in the comments!
