The famous blue badge from Instagram and Facebook is an achievement that many people aspire to. However, until a few days ago, to acquire it, an account had to meet a series of requirements.
Now, social networks have decided to make the process easier. Through the Meta Verified subscription service, it is possible to purchase the verification badge for R$55 per month.
The paid badge can be purchased directly from the app and is available for both Android and iOS. The value (R$55) is equivalent to just one platform, meaning that if the person wants verification on both their Instagram and Facebook accounts, they will have to multiply that number by two.
But not everything is perfect: brand and business accounts do not yet have access to Meta Verified. According to Meta, the company responsible for both social networks, this possibility is already being worked on and should happen soon.
Beyond the blue seal
In addition to the status of having the blue verification badge, Meta Verified brings other advantages to users who pay for the service. The main one is the confirmation that the person is who they say they are. Through the badge, accounts are more protected and monitored, which is important to prevent fake profiles.
Contractors will also have access to technical support provided by a real person, not a robot, as is customary. In addition, the person will receive exclusive resources, such as exclusive stickers for both reels and stories, on both Facebook and Instagram.
Subscription Requirements
Meta has decided to create some prerequisites for signing up for Meta Verified. Therefore, to obtain the blue badge, the first step is for the person to be of legal age. In addition, the person must send a copy of an official document that must match the name and profile photo of the account.
The person who wants to purchase their verification badge must also have a posting history. However, Meta has not yet disclosed whether there will be a minimum number of active posts on the profile.
How to hire
The service is now available in Brazil. Anyone who wants to get their blue seal should access the “Settings” tab. Then click on “Account Center” and then on “Meta Verified”. If the account is eligible for verification, it will be forwarded to the next step, which is to set up payment.
You must have the documents on hand, as both Instagram and Facebook will request a real-time photo with the ID in hand, as well as a photo or video to confirm the identity of the contractor.
