News coming: WhatsApp will have new text formatting tools

Who uses the Whatsapp You know how the messenger is a big help. It allows you to get closer to people who are far away, being able to chat, make video calls, audio calls and much more. No wonder it is the most used messenger around the world.

Now, WhatsApp is currently in the process of developing three new options to further strengthen the formatting of text in messages.

The release date for the new text formatting tools in WhatsApp for the stable version has not yet been confirmed.

So far, the features are in the testing phase in the beta version of Whatsapp for desktop, but there are plans for its future availability on both the Android and iOS apps.

Code blocking will help programmers

One of the main features that is being tested for the messenger is Code Blocking. Through this capability, individuals will be able to share blocks of code within the Whatsappkeeping the original formatting intact.

In addition to improving the readability of messages, the focus of this function is for programmers who use the messenger and want to share their codes via WhatsApp.

List of items should make everyday life easier

The second tool that should arrive for text formatting within WhatsApp is the ability to create lists of items.

In this case, the application aims to simplify and make the creation of lists within messages more intuitive, an activity that was already possible, but with different methods.

Answers will have better quality with the ‘Quote’ function

Finally, the third new feature will focus on the citation function. It will be somewhat different from the current one, which can be seen on WhatsApp.

This update will provide the possibility of emphasizing specific segments of the original text, to which the response is directed, allowing for greater quality in the interactions with other people.
