The electric microcar segment gained a new member, straight from Switzerland. The company Micro, responsible for creating the famous Microlino, launched a Lite version of the model during the Geneva Motor Show.
The novelty attracted a lot of attention, especially due to the differences it offers.
O Microlino Lite it can be driven in other European countries with a simple moped license, which allows drivers from 14 years of age. In Portugal, this limit is slightly higher: 16 years.
To facilitate this classification, the vehicle’s top speed has been reduced to 45 km/h, which is half that of the standard Microlino.
This was a brand strategy to try to attract consumers who live in cities and who are looking for something more practical to get around.
