Technology, no matter how advanced it is, is not immune to challenges. The launch of a long-awaited product, such as iPhone 15is a testimony to that.
Even with the great expectations and euphoria of consumers, the newest smartphone from Apple already presents some obstacles. Check out some of them.
5 iPhone 15 problems
With the arrival of any new device on the market, especially one as eagerly awaited as the iPhone 15, there are high expectations. However, it appears that Apple faces initial challenges with its latest release. According to reports, five issues have been the most recurring among owners of this device.
1. Overheating
Starting with overheating, which is not related, as some might think, to TSMC’s new 3nm advanced node.
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who usually has accurate information about Apple products, highlights that the root of the problem lies in the design of the thermal system.
And the reason? The choice of materials, such as titanium, which affects thermal efficiency. While it is hoped that software fixes may help, Kuo was clear: the solution may require reducing processor performance.
2. Screen crash
A second point of attention involves screen failures during the device configuration stage. Users found themselves stuck in a repetitive sequence that only showed the Apple logo. Luckily, an iOS update on launch day resolved the complication.
3. Poor performance
Another complaint focuses on the operating system’s performance. Some owners have encountered slowdowns and delays in operation, which can be attributed to the lack of optimization of certain applications for the iOS 17 or adapting to the new device.
4. Scratches
However, it’s not just software issues that plague the iPhone 15. Complaints about fingerprints, scratches and misaligned screens arose with the arrival of the new titanium design. For many, the answer has been to return or replace their smartphone.
5. Low durability
Finally, questions of durability also came to light. A video demonstrated how the back of the iPhone 15 Pro Max can be easily damaged, contrasting with its smaller version, the iPhone 15 Pro, which proved to be more resistant.
