How to Remove Telegram Sticker Packs from Mobile and Desktop

Among them, Telegram is moving forward with better interactive stickers. You can fill your Telegram account with dozens of sticker packages in a short time. Here is how you can remove sticker packs from Telegram mobile and desktop apps.

Remove Telegram Tags from Mobile Apps

Telegram offers native app support on both iPhone and Android. And apps carry different UI/UX to match the rest of the theme on both platforms. Let’s start with the Telegram app for iPhone.

Follow the steps below to edit or remove Telegram sticker packs from iPhone app.

Stage 1: Open Telegram on iPhone.

Step 2: Open any chat and notice a small sticker icon in the message bar.

Stage 3: Tap on it and it will open the sticker packs in vertical order.

Step 4: Swipe the top sticker packs horizontally and go to Settings.

Step 5: At the bottom you will see the Sticker sets menu.

Step 6: Select the sticker packs you want to remove and tap on Delete at the bottom.

You can also swipe left on any sticker pack and use the Delete button to remove the sticker pack from Telegram account.

Android users can follow the step-by-step instructions below to remove sticker packs from the app.

Stage 1: Open Telegram on your Android phone and go to any chat.

Step 2: Tap the little emoji icon in the lower left corner.

Stage 3: It will open the Emoji menu and select Move to Stickers menu.

Step 4: Tap the gear icon and open the Stickers & Masks menu.

Step 5: Tap the three-dot menu next to the sticker pack and select Uninstall from the menu below.

You can also archive a sticker pack from Telegram and reuse it from the same Stickers and Masks menu.

Remove Telegram Tags from Desktop Apps

Unlike WhatsApp and Signal, Telegram offers truly native desktop apps with the same features as their mobile apps.

You have to rely on the Settings menu to manage sticker packs on the desktop. Here’s how to use the Telegram Settings menu to remove stickers.

Stage 1: Open the Telegram app on your Mac.

Step 2: Click on the Settings gear at the bottom.

Stage 3: Go to the Stickers menu.

Step 4: From the sticker sets, click the Delete icon next to the sticker pack you want to remove.

Telegram will ask for your confirmation. Select Delete and you are ready to use Telegram without annoying stickers.

Telegram on Windows

Telegram Windows app is completely different from Mac app. It looks like an Android app. The steps to remove sticker packs from Telegram Windows app are also different. Here they are.

Stage 1: Open Telegram on Windows.

Step 2: Click on the hamburger menu at the top and go to Settings.

Stage 3: Go to the Chat Settings menu.

Step 4: Scroll down and open the Stickers and emoji menu.

Step 5: Click on admin sticker sets.

Step 6: Click on the little delete icon next to the sticker pack. You can rearrange them according to your convenience from the same menu.

An interesting behavior we noticed in the Telegram Windows and Mac app. When you delete a sticker pack on Mac, it goes to the Archive section, so you can always re-enable them in the future.

When you delete a sticker pack in Windows, it will be completely removed from your account. So be careful when using the option.
