WhatsApp was late to add sticker support. However, even at all times in the world, the app has averaged over WhatsApp. There are no sticker suggestions from emojis, they’re not interactive, and they lack the fun element Telegram provides. If you feel the same, you should remove the sticker packs from WhatsApp. Here’s how to do it.
If you’re not careful, you might come across dozens of sticker packs on WhatsApp. In this case, finding the relevant sticker during a conversation can be a tiring experience. Let’s remove some unnecessary sticker packs from WhatsApp, shall we?
WhatsApp for iPhone and iPad
WhatsApp follows operating system guidelines on each platform. In other words, iPhone and Android applications use a different interface. We’ll talk about the iPhone app first, and then move on to the WhatsApp Android app.
Stage 1: Open WhatsApp on iPhone.
Step 2: Tap any conversation.
Stage 3: In the message box, tap the Sticker icon.
Step 4: It will open your favorite stickers. Tap the + icon in the upper right corner.
Step 5: WhatsApp opens the Stickers menu with all the stickers.
Step 6: Go to the My Tags tab.
Step 7: Tap the Edit button at the top.
Step 8: Tap the red minus icon and delete it from WhatsApp.
Unlike Telegram, there is no way to archive a sticker pack in WhatsApp. The action will completely remove the stickers from the WhatsApp account.
WhatsApp for Android
WhatsApp for Android uses a material design that is standard for native Android apps. Follow the steps below to remove sticker packs from WhatsApp Android app.
Stage 1: Open WhatsApp on Android.
Step 2: Go to any conversation and tap the emoji icon in the message menu.
Stage 3: Select the sticker icon in the conversation.
Step 4: Tap the + icon at the top.
Step 5: Go to My Stickers from the menu below.
Step 6: Tap on the delete icon and remove the sticker pack from WhatsApp.
From the same menu, you can organize sticker packs by reordering them accordingly.
WhatsApp once again lags behind Telegram in terms of implementation. There is no special sticker menu in Settings to manage sticker packs in the app.
Can I Remove Sticker Packs from WhatsApp for Desktop
While WhatsApp has done a commendable job of bringing major mobile features to the desktop version, we can’t say the same for stickers.
You can use sticker packs in WhatsApp desktop apps, but you cannot reorder or delete them from the big screen.

Remove Recent Stickers on iPhone
Some users want to delete WhatsApp sticker packs to remove these embarrassing recent stickers from WhatsApp.
Instead of removing the whole sticker pack, you can remove stickers from the last menu. Here’s how to do it on iPhone.
Stage 1: Open WhatsApp and go to any chat.
Step 2: Tap the sticker icon and your recently used stickers will open in WhatsApp.
Stage 3: Long press the sticker you want to remove and select Remove from Recents.
Repeat the same steps for each sticker you want to remove from the last menu. Unfortunately, there is no single way to remove all stickers from the same menu.
Remove Recent Stickers from WhatsApp on Android
You can also remove the latest stickers from WhatsApp Android. Here’s what you need to do on Android.
Stage 1: Tap any conversation in the WhatsApp app on Android.
Step 2: Tap the emoji icon and go to the stickers menu.
Stage 3: Tap and hold any sticker and select remove sticker from the menu.
When you use another sticker from a sticker pack, it will be added to the final menu.
Delete Sticker Packs from WhatsApp
You can always download third-party sticker packs from the web. But don’t go overboard with it. If you think you have enough stickers on WhatsApp, use the steps above and remove the irrelevant ones from the app.
