As soon as the option to send temporary photos arrived on WhatsApp, allowing the individual to choose to view the image only once, users loved the feature and started using it regularly. However, now, a new feature is coming: temporary audios, that is, it will be possible to play them only once.
The addition of this new feature is already being made available in a Beta version of the Meta messenger. However, nothing has been made official yet. All that was found were messages with a unique reproduction of the audio sent in WABetaInfo, in version 2.23.7.8 of WhatsApp Beta, specifically intended for Android.
If this new feature is actually implemented, it will be possible to send a specific audio file and place it in a temporary format, so that it can only be played once, similar to the process found with images sent temporarily.

However, it seems that the audio in question would not appear in the way we see in the image above. The process would be a little different. When sending the self-destructing audio, a page would open, similar to what happens when sending images in the function mentioned above.
But what is all this for? As obvious as it may seem, self-destructing audio messages are ideal when talking about subjects that require greater care in terms of possible leaks.
Additionally, when the feature becomes available to all users, there will be no option to record audio, much less send it to someone.
When will it be available?
It is not yet known when the new feature will be released to users, but judging by similar processes in the messenger, it will be made available gradually, that is, little by little, as soon as the tool goes through the entire analysis process, in order to avoid any potential bugs.
So, comment below if you are looking forward to checking out and taking advantage of this new WhatsApp tool.
