No friends to play with? Heineken creates website to help gamers ‘match up’

Have you ever thought about the possibility of finding a partner to play with when your friends are not available? Although it may seem difficult, this idea has taken shape with Heineken, which created a website with the aim of helping gamers find companions for their games.

O Beer Matchmaking is a website that promises to perform a quick search on its platform, taking into account several factors, such as the game, player levels, consoles used and even basic information about players who stand out as potential partners.

This way, with such information, you can ensure that they have the same level and the same times available to play.

What is the objective of this initiative?

Heineken created the Beer Matchmaking to help players find playmates when their friends are not available.

With this, the company wants to show that socializing can happen in other ways, besides being together physically. In other words, while players have fun playing, they can also increase their friends list.

The current senior marketing manager for Heineken in Brazil, Igor de Castro Oliveira, spoke about the new project developed by the brand:

“Our new product is here to solve a problem for gamers in a simple and interesting way. Once again, Heineken fulfills its purpose of connecting people, including across different platforms.

Beer Matchmaking is part of an even larger movement, which shows that friendships and good relationships are also built online and through games.”

And don’t worry, access to this new Heineken platform will be completely free, with no charges. The list of games is huge, but we can mention the following titles: “Fortnite”, “Valorant”, “FIFA 23”, “LOL” and “Destiny 2”.

Another novelty

Satisfied with the new platform, the brand also decided to develop new packaging for its beer, so that users can enjoy this launch and also collect the bottles that will be available for a limited time.

There are four different models in this release: the first is called Moba (online battle arena), FPS (referring to first-person shooter games), Sports and RPG to complete.
