The spread of artificial intelligence has brought with it a true revolution, and the ChatGPTin particular, stands out for its easy-to-use interface, making it accessible to everyone.
Unlike previous models, which involved a complicated training process, ChatGPT has simplified everything with its pre-trained chat window, packed with extensive knowledge.
However, the popularity of ChatGPT has generated a number of different perceptions among users. While some see it as an oracle, a reliable source of wisdom, others compare it to a turbocharged autocomplete, capable of helping with daily tasks.
Despite the differences, the second group is really right. ChatGPT cannot be considered as a research source, after all, it does not have a database as powerful as the current search engines we know.
Furthermore, instead of displaying results and letting users construct knowledge for themselves, ChatGPT composes answers based on what it finds in the database. In other words, the results for searches made through the tool are created by ChatGPT itself, therefore, they are not reliable.
It is interesting to note that, increasingly, the limitations of the technology are being understood, a process similar to what occurred with the initial launch of Crab by Apple.

This use raises the possibility of an advertisement related to artificial intelligence by the company. After all, Apple has already demonstrated its interest in exploring AI technologies, and the use of a tool like ChatGPT shows continued progress in this direction.
The ease of use and growing understanding of the limitations of artificial intelligence like ChatGPT have enabled greater integration of this technology in people’s daily lives.
Despite Siri’s usefulness in some respects, the company faces challenges in developing reliable generative AI. Speculation is that Apple may be considering something safer, like SiriGPTalthough with limited potential.
Apple’s leadership appears undecided about its strategy in the AI market. The continuity of Siri, as we know it, may be under threat and it remains to be seen whether this represents an exciting new chapter or whether Apple has already abandoned the assistant a long time ago.
Meanwhile, the company continues to highlight features related to machine learning, but public expectations for a significant advance remain high. Uncertainty hangs in the air and Apple will need to define its path in this dynamic scenario of tecnologic innovation.
