Age and sleep: understand the relationship between ideal hours of sleep and your age group

Sleep is one of the most important moments of the day. It is through sleep that we are able to absorb everything we have learned throughout the day, as well as replenish the body’s energy.

Often, when we wake up, there is still a feeling of incomplete sleep, and this can be a sign that the hours of sleep are not being enough. In this context, we list the amount of hours of sleep ideal for every age.

Sleep time according to age

Routine is one of the biggest influences on sleep. This is because many people, depending on the number of activities they carry out throughout the day, reduce their sleep hours to complete all their tasks.

Many factors impact a good night’s sleep, including: light, temperature, noise, among others. In conditions suitable for a good night’s sleep, the body is able to rest in a deep way until the next day.

There are many activities that are not recommended at night so as not to disturb your rest, such as using electronic devices close to bedtime. Exercise, on the other hand, helps you get a good night’s rest.

Getting the right amount of sleep is important for overall health, especially in early childhood. This is because this is when growth hormones are produced at their highest rates.

Some people use devices to help them fall asleep more quickly, and for those who have problems with insomnia, the ideal is to consult a specialist.
