In an interview with Ariel Helwani MMA Time yesterday, The Dominator talks about the upcoming fight, his rival Marlon Vera, why he’s representing himself in fight negotiations with the UFC, and more. Cruz also praised Vera for her achievements in the UFC.
When asked if he and his opponent were cold to each other, or if there were any problems between them, The Dominator replied: “I’m fine with him, who knows what he’s thinking. I’m trying not to worry about it, I’m just trying to be me. You know I can only control myself. I’ve seen it, worked with it a million times, and it never happened.”
“I mean, he always had some likes, he always liked to come and poke me but he wasn’t, I just never really bit him because I’m not really attached, it’s not, I’m just here for one day, every day as what I need to be to make it work and if If that’s it, that’s it.
