“I don’t like to share personal things” – Stipe Miocic explains that his father passed away amid constant criticism of the fighter’s absence in the octagon

Stipe Miocic has been living apart for a long time away from the octagon, most recently after losing the heavyweight belt to Francis Ngannou in March 2021. Needless to say, it has endured some criticism.

2022 could mark the long-awaited arrival of Miocic, considered one of the heavyweight’s greatest. Cain Velasquez. A month or two ago, rumors began circulating about a potential super showdown between Miocic and Miocic. Jones – however, this was not going to happen, as the veteran allegedly did not sign the contract.

However, this may be due to turbulent periods in Miocic’s life. The Ohio native wrote in a heartfelt note about his father’s death, “It took a while to write this, I didn’t want to share anything about it, but I want everyone to know… my father died last Sunday… it’s important to remember and celebrate his life and what a wonderful man he was… Rest in peace and I know you will be watching.

Another thing he wrote stands out – “I don’t like to post personal stuff on social media, but it’s important to remember and celebrate his life and what a great man he was.“Given the recent criticism he has faced for being out of action for almost two years, it is important that fans and analysts take a step back and allow the aspect of having a personal life factor in any given judgment. The death of his father may have kept Miocic out for a long time.
