He joined the Panthers again in 2021, however, and everyone expected him to regain his lost glory. It would be fair to say that the season was a complete disappointment for the Panthers and Newton. Recently, Cam was spotted talking candidly about her personal life in the latest episode of the “Funky Friday” YouTube series.

Cam has spoken openly about her decision not to marry the mother of her four children. She claimed that her high-profile job prevented her from tying the knot with Shakia Proctor. “The thing is, the person I was when I was having kids together, I couldn’t be the best husband. I wasn’t ready to be a husband thenNewton told Brittany Renner.
“I was on the island of temptation. A football player, young, ‘no’ is not even in my vocabulary. I found myself in this downward spiral. Did he deserve better? I can humbly say, yes, he did. I was falling further into my own selfishness and realizing that I needed to be better.” He claimed.
Newton and Proctor have four children together named Sebastian Newton, Sovereign-Dior Cambella, Camidas Swain Newton, and Cashmere Saint Newton. Cam stated that Proctor supported him a lot during the ups and downs of his career, adding that the two share a great relationship even now.
“We just broke up and now we have a great working relationship and we have beautiful kids and we see them growing day by day.“Newton said”My family has been together for 36 years. I know what marriage is like: ups, downs, trials, tribulations. I saw Kia really transform into a woman whose standards were ‘I’m not just a baby mom’ and when she kept pressing me I said ‘I don’t know if this is what I really want’.,’” Newton shared.
