“I don’t know what that means,” Matt LaFleur counters Aaron Rodgers’ criticism of the O-Line after beating heavily against the Jets.

The Green Bay Packers are currently having a tough time trying to build a winning momentum to build a good platform at the start of the season. Aaron Rodgers has so far failed to weave his magic for the Packers this season and he is apparently dissatisfied with what head coach Matt LaFleur has been doing off the court.

After the Packers suffered their third defeat of the season with a 27-10 result to the New York Jets, Rodgers finally revealed his true feelings about the offensive play designed by them. The 38-year-old clearly wanted to simplify the team’s offensive play in the upcoming matches to avoid such outbursts.

“Most of them are simple mistakes. If we’re making simple mistakes in complex games, I think we need to simplify things.” According to the Packers report, Aaron Rodgers said after the defeat: Ryan Wood.

But head coach Matt LaFleur was out of sync with the star quarterback when asked about the latter’s comments at the post-match press conference.

“I don’t know what that means. We talked about it. Whenever there is a lack of execution … for me, it’s about digging into the details of what we’re doing. Because I think you could see that and that falls on everybody.” Matt LaFleur said in response to Rodgers’ comments:

Of course, we always start with us as coaches, trying to do a better job of making the guys understand all the little subtleties, because I think that’s what really sets a lot of games in this league apart. It doesn’t matter what we do schematically. It’s hard to do anything if we don’t prevent it better. And I think that was really the #1 issue yesterday.

Now we will see what the Packers will ultimately decide and do to improve their offensive play, something that has been a concern for the franchise since its preseason debut.
