She is only the third player to achieve this feat, with India captain Mithali Raj, Sachin Tendulkar, and Pakistani great Javed Miandad participating as the only women to appear in six World Cups. He plays for only the second time in six ODI World Cups, after an Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar played for India in the ODI World Cups in 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011, marking India’s second World Cup win in 28 years. During the 1975, 1979, 1983, 1987, 1992 and 1996 Men’s ODI World Cups, Javed Miandad represented Pakistan six times.
Mithali Raj, 39, made his World Cup debut in 2000 and has since returned to the competition in 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017 and now 2022. He achieved this feat as India faced its arch-rivals. Pakistan at Mr Oval in the much anticipated opening match of the ICC Women’s World Cup.
In the women’s match, a batsman from India defeated former New Zealand cricketer Debbie Hockley and England’s Charlotte Edwards. Second on the list is fast bowler Jhulan Goswami, who has played five World Cups alongside Mithali Raj. Apart from Raj, Tendulkar is the only Indian Men’s cricketer to have played in all six World Cups, from the 1992 tournament to his 2011 victory.

Cricketer Smriti Mandhana completed her 2500th ODI run in Sunday’s Women in Blue match against arch-rivals Pakistan at the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup. Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra and Harmanpreet Kaur.
Smriti Mandhana started her World Cup campaign impressively by winning half a century against the women of Bismah Maroof. His form will be crucial throughout the tournament for India’s top positions.
