Amazon plans to guide its employees remotely with augmented reality glasses in its warehouses, so they know where and how to go in the most optimized way possible. All is well for the company to increase the productivity of its employees, but once again it is accused of wanting to spy on its employees.

As Gizmodo reports, Amazon has filed for a patent. augmented reality glasses for its employees. These would help them navigate the company’s huge warehouses. An interface would display and show employees where and how to go. A way to optimize trips and save time. And if there’s one company that understands the phrase “time is money”, it’s definitely Amazon.

The problem is that these tools are a serious breach of privacy. Amazon will then be able to collect data such as walking speed, exact location, or the direction each employee is looking at while wearing these glasses.
