Among the clues we have is New benchmark list for SM-N920V, a known model number for the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 and an FCC registration for the SM-N920V. The FCC filing is the most tangible proof, and that means we’ll be seeing a brand new Galaxy Note at Verizon later this year.

Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Launch Date

Samsung and Verizon have not announced the Galaxy Note 5 launch date, but we are confident that the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 launch will take place next month.

Rumors point to a launch on or near August 13. According to rumors, there will be a launch event in New York City, where Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 in 2013.

It’s unclear if Samsung will host a live stream of the event, but if history is any indication, those of you who didn’t attend will be able to watch the entire celebration from the comfort of your office or home. If you’re ever interested in this phone, it’s worth attending the event.

Verizon probably won’t be on the scene, but we often see Samsung confirming carriers on stage, with carriers announcing their own plans after an event ends.

Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Release Date

The Verizon Galaxy Note 5 release date may be close. Galaxy Note 5 rumors suggest that we will see the device in the United States on August 21. This is much earlier than Samsung’s past Galaxy Note release dates.

The date has yet to be confirmed, but the FCC filing means there’s a good chance we’ll see Verizon launch its new Galaxy Note sooner this time around.

We don’t usually see FCC clearance occur until or in the days after launch day. This early preparatory work means we’re getting very close to the device’s launch day, which means we’ll likely get a firm date on or near August 13.

The Galaxy Note 5 is said to have 4GB of RAM, and thanks to a potential benchmark we now know that the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 is highly likely to have 4GB of RAM.

If that’s true, the Galaxy Note 5 will be the first Galaxy Note to have 4GB of RAM. And if that’s true, the Galaxy Note 5 will definitely be one of the most powerful smartphones of the year.

Verizon Galaxy Note 5 expected to have an Exynos 7420 octa-core or Exynos 7422 octa-core CPU on board. In these benchmarks, the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 is featured on the Exynos 7420.

The benchmarks are extremely solid, and they place the device in and around the benchmarks rated by the Samsung Galaxy S6. The Exynos 7420 is the same CPU found in the Galaxy S6.

If Samsung opts for the newer processor, expect the Galaxy Note 5 to offer a bit more firepower. Exynos 7422 is expected to be a more powerful version of Exynos 7420.

Either way, the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 will pack a punch.

The benchmark points to an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop base for the Verizon Galaxy Note 5. Given that Android M isn’t official yet, and Android 5.1.1 is the most up-to-date version of the company’s Android software, that’s no surprise.

Verizon Galaxy S6 comes with one of the best displays on the market right now.

Other Features

The Galaxy Note 5 is also said to feature an upgraded S Pen that looks and feels like a real pen, a new design to match the premium Galaxy S6 form factor, four color options, and a massive 4,000mAh battery that should deliver the power it needs. the same great battery life that current Galaxy Note users are used to.

it’s been a bit Back and forth about the Galaxy Note 5 microSD card slot (we wouldn’t bet there would be one) and it’s not yet clear if the device will have a slot in its design or if it will be one like the Galaxy S6 design. Either way, expect the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 to have tons of storage for music, apps, and more.

Verizon Galaxy Note 4 price starts dropping ahead of Galaxy Note 5 launch with retailers like Amazon to offer some lasting opportunities. While they may seem tempting, know that the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 price will likely drop even more when the Galaxy Note 5 arrives.
