The benchmarks are extremely solid, and they place the device in and around the benchmarks rated by the Samsung Galaxy S6. The Exynos 7420 is the same CPU found in the Galaxy S6.
If Samsung opts for the newer processor, expect the Galaxy Note 5 to offer a bit more firepower. Exynos 7422 is expected to be a more powerful version of Exynos 7420.
Either way, the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 will pack a punch.
Software
The benchmark points to an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop base for the Verizon Galaxy Note 5. Given that Android M isn’t official yet, and Android 5.1.1 is the most up-to-date version of the company’s Android software, that’s no surprise.
