Snapchat for Android just got a new beta in version 10.1.3.0 that marks the arrival of a new feature: grouped notifications. All you have to do to take advantage of it is that your smartphone is (at least) running Android 7.0 Nougat and you need to be a beta tester. So you can get the latest news before anyone else.

Realizing that it prefers iOS to Android a few days ago, Snapchat updated its beta version with a small innovation that will make life easier for everyone who uses the application on a daily basis. Grouped notifications that take full advantage of what Android 7.0 Nougat has to offer.
Instead of displaying one by one, app notifications will come together in the panel. Tap on it and the notifications will expand to tell you who sent you a snap, who sent you a chat, or who tried to call you. Note that only smartphones under Nougat can take advantage of this innovation, which is quite logical since it is one of the core functions of version 7.0.
Knowing that this new beta has just arrived on the Play Store, you’ll probably have to wait a few weeks for grouped notifications to roll out in the public version of the app. However, if you don’t want to wait and have Nougat running on your smartphone, you can now take advantage of this new version as a beta tester. Here’s how:
- click this link then “Become a tester” button
- If you don’t have Snapchat yet, download the app from the given link. If the app is already on your device, you will automatically receive a link to download the update.
If you decide to seduce yourself, remember that this is only a beta version. Therefore, it is not impossible to encounter some bugs.
