The new juice packs prepared by Mophie for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + almost double the batteries of the phones. Two battery boxes are currently available at: mophie.com for $99.95.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ can last most users a full day on a single charge, especially if they choose one of the battery saver modes. But users who want to keep their Galaxy S8 in high performance mode, watch videos in 4K or play games all day will have to pause and recharge. The new juice packs mean that pausing charging doesn’t mean you have to sit still while your Galaxy S8 is plugged in or sitting on a charging pad.

The mophie juice pack for the Galaxy S8 contains a 2,950 mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the phone’s internal 3,000 mAh battery. The mophie juice pack for the Galaxy S8+ includes a 3,300mAh battery, just shy of the Galaxy S8+’s 3,500mAh battery. 
These cases are more than simple battery packs. They can charge almost any charging pad, including those found at Starbucks, airports, and newer cars. They also have a built-in magnet that allows the phone to be attached to the mophie’s magnetic accessories, including car mount and desktop stands. It can even stick mophie’s 10,000 mAh charging power powerstation battery.
Mophie juice packs add some weight to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, but a slightly bulkier charged phone is much better than a dead phone. Fortunately, the Galaxy S8+ is narrower than other phones with large screens like the iPhone 7 Plus.
One area of concern with the new juice packs is that they make the already hard-to-reach Galaxy S8 fingerprint scanner even harder to reach. If you buy this battery case, be prepared to use a passcode or iris scanner to unlock your phone.
