Google Play Store moves to Material Design

New Material Design graphic convention made available by Android L it was undoubtedly one of the biggest surprises of the 2014 edition of Google I/O. A brand new, more modern and user-friendly interface in the program. A few days ago, we could discover the first images. If you noticed that the last play store update it was already important, version 4.9.13 should also please you. While the navigation and overall interface remain pretty much the same, the intricacies of Material Design are above all in the details, especially on the side of the app pages.

After installing this new version of Google Play Store, you will notice that especially the app descriptions go into full screen mode. Small details such as app size and version have also been moved, as have the +1 button for sharing an app via Google+.

In other words, while the general design of the application remained the same, new design elements were added to the Play Store’s interface, giving a more “human” side. As such, it’s not exactly a true revolution, but a set of changes that work quite well once correlated.
